Rebuilding Connections, Forging New Pathways

The Toledo, Lake Erie & Western Railway and Museum is proud to announce the formal launch of our expanded Business-to-Business (B2B) and Community Partnership Program. As a cornerstone of local history operating right here in Northwest Ohio, we recognize that our success, preservation efforts, and community impact depend entirely on the strength of our collaborative relationships.

Our Vision for Collaboration

Through this initiative, we are actively seeking to build and deepen meaningful connections across a broad network of regional partners, including:

  • Transportation & Cultural Museums: Connecting with peer institutions dedicated to preserving transportation heritage.
  • Community Leadership: Partnering with local chambers of commerce, historical societies, and civic organizations to promote regional tourism, education, and economic vitality.
  • Line-Side Businesses & Commercial Rail: Engaging directly with local businesses situated along our railroad corridor, as well as commercial railroad organizations, to ensure mutual support and community integration.

A Message on Renewal and Outreach

We acknowledge that past administrations may have strained some of our valued relationships within the community and industry. We want to be clear and unequivocal: we are fully committed to repairing those bonds, listening to our partners, and moving forward with transparency, respect, and shared purpose.

This initiative is an open invitation to introduce—or reintroduce—ourselves. Whether your organization has worked alongside us for decades or you are an entity falling into any of the categories mentioned above, we welcome you to reach out to us directly before we have the chance to contact you.

Together, let’s preserve our rich rail heritage and build a stronger, connected future for Northwest Ohio.
