The TLE&W has seen some spooky days of late, and the younger members of our youth maintenance-of-way program have a fall ride ready for it. We are calling it Pumpkin Patch Motorcar Hayrides and it is under our Seasonal programs. Saturday, October 24, Sunday, October 25, and Halloween Day, Saturday, October 31. The consist leaves on the hour from the Front Street river crossing, first trip at noon, last ride out at 6 p.m. and back by 7. About 45 minutes, ten dollars a person. Bring the kids in their Halloween outfits, pick a pumpkin, take some pictures. Never know what you’ll find lurking in the woods..
A reminder, before you set it aside: we request that you reserve your seats. Each run holds 16 people, and once an hour is full that departure is closed. Do not wait until you are standing at the bridge. Come on out. We will see you down by the river crossing.
